About History
|
Bhuban is the largest village in the Asia Continent, situated in the bank of Brahmani River. It's having beautiful scenery with fabulous climate. It is famous for bullock festival (Balada Yatra), Dusserah puja. Bhuban is the birth place of Sahid Baji Rout.
A holy and nice place of Dhenkanal district is mainly peaceful area for its inhabitants and outsiders. It's having dwellers of different religions and casts. Thus its unity in diversity shows its essence. Bhuban is the NAC to which a large numbers of villages depend. It is also under Kamakhya Nagr constituency. Lord Budheswar temple is very famous and situated in a beautiful location near the bank of Brahmani River. Baji Rout Memorial College & Bhuban Women's college eradicates a huge mass of illiterates. It also famous for pittal Kansa basan. The two famous restaurants - "RAINBOW" and "JASMINE" are well known for traditional Orissa thali and also Chinese, continental foods. Big showroom such as Bajaj Automobiles, Hero Honda & TVS is doing brisk business. Its Cinema Theater really entertains the villagers in every occasion. The Indian Oil and Bharat petroleum fuel its road transportation. Many social organizations such as Rama mandir Puja committee,mahil sangrami morcha, Satya Sai Seva anustana, Budheswar puja committee, Durga Puja Committee, Rastriya swayan sevak sangh, Bajaranga dala, Biswa Hindu Parisad, has been organizing frequent activities every year. It has many clubs handling by different age groups. Basically Nuabazar and Kali bazar do fulfill basic needs and wants of its inhabitants and outsiders also.
